React Software Engineer

It is Rombit’s mission to reduce our customer’s operational expenses by providing safety, efficiency and sustainability solutions for their frontline workforce and equipment.

As a React Software Engineer at Rombit, you’re part of the self-steering team working on our product team. Your colleagues love sharing knowledge. So do you. Together, you decide how to improve our Rombit platform and the mobile applications attached to it.

You are able to take responsibility for the front-end of our various products and are able to select the right technologies and tools to build the solution within our set of core technologies. 

You are responsible for the quality of your code and are able to improve on existing code through refactoring. You are adept at test-driven development and are able to write clear unit tests and integration tests.

You are able to work in an agile environment and will review the work of your peers in order to provide them with constructive feedback.

You have at least 2 years proven experience, and present expertise in:

• React (with Redux, Redux-Saga, Typescript and/or Flow,  …)
• A problem-solving attitude
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Mobile development experience (Flutter or React Native) is a plus
• Experience with NodeJS is a plus

You get extra points if you master:

• Knowledge of how to structure REST API’s
• Basic understanding of UML (ERD, sequence diagram, flowchart)
• Agile and test-driven development
• Experience with SCRUM
